casting a dusky haze
over my shadow
stretching

hurtling through the air
pumping my legs
pulling my arms
white knuckles
on the rusty chain
snap back suddenly
gliding backwards
windwhisper in my ears
swimmingness in my head
slower s l o w i n g
sliding
down
ashy toes through
warm sleepy sand
stop.
